Download Most Recent Upgraded Software For Qsat Q23G & Q15G

The new thing about this article is that you can download upgrade software for your qsat q23g. This software may not be actually necessary if your q23g is currently working perfectly without issues. However, there tends to be added features , security patch and improved performance with firmware updates. Another good reason why it is good to have a software for q23g at this time is because, it will be helpful in reviving your q23g in case you soft-brick it (Please while the going is still now between you and your q23g, I will strongly advise you to backup the original firmware of your decoder. This is because you may need to downgrade in the nearest future when you screw up your decoder software). As for q15g, i can say, i don’t know why another software was released. Well if you have a q23g that doesn’t connect to the internet, let alone open channels, you may need to upgrade.

HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR QSAT Q23G / Q15G WITH THE ABOVE SOFTWARE

Disclaimer: I am not to be held liable for any mistake or negligence on the part of anybody using this software. This is because if you jettison my instructions and warnings, you may soft-brick your qsat(soft bring translates to damaging the software part of your device). However if you do all what is required of you, then you won’t have any problem with the upgrade.

You must have a stable electricity, if your electricity is not stable, please use an inverter or a generator.
You must use only a virus free USB flash drive( to be sure of this, you can format the usb drive before you copy the file into it)
Once you download my files, you will need to extract it after extraction, you will see two files inside the folder, the read me file.txt and the software.bin you are required to copy only the .bin file to your flash drive then read the text file (Note: q23g has already been extracted).
It is worthy of note that your qsat need not be connected to the internet throughout the upgrading process.
Once you have met the above requirements, please plugin your usb to your qsat, on your remote now press MENU>>UPGRADE>>USB / UPGRADE, select the file you copied to your usb earlier and click on ok to start the process. Once the process is completed, your decoder will reboot that is all.

If anything get confused after upgrading your qsat; for example if you loose all your channels, if your internet protocol changes…

Satellite & Dongle Updates As Brazil 2014 Fifa World Cup Rocks

World cup started on 12th of June 2014. Prior to the world cup, there were various tensions and anxiety about how ds* will tackle products and devices opening their channels. Well dst* actually put up a very fierce fight which actually boomeranged. The afternoon of Thursday 12 June, 2014. TV1 cccam account opened all HD channels on dst*. Azsky also came back with a very high degree of stability. I will highlight what happneed between to azsky, qsat, zorrobox tv1 cccam and tlink from Thursday 12-06-2014 till date.
brazil
satellite updates
THE DYNAMICS BETWEEN VARIOUS DECODERS & DONGLES DURING THE WORLD CUP
Qsat: Qsat went off before the match between Brazil and crotia on Thursday and came back few minutes later. However only qsat with avatarcam code 5***** came back as most qsat with avatarcam codes 4***** remained off until this morning when some of the qsat with code 4**** started working. If you don’t know how to check your avatarcam code on qsat, please read this. Secondly, if your qsat is still not working as at the time of reading this article, please upgrade ypir qsat to the latest available software which you can download here. After Upgrade, your qsat should work fine. If it still doesn’t work after upgrading, then you will have to wait for qsat to solve the problem themselves.
Azsky: Azsky showed the signs of full comeback during Thursday world cup match between brazil and Croatia, however it went off in the midnight of thursday and its yet to be fully back. As I am writing this post, ss3, max 1 and some other channels are showing on azsky but it is not too stable. I will officially say something once azsky is fully back and stable. And as for those who have azsky that didn’t work at all when others were working, please be patient i assure you that when azsky is fully back, all azsky products will work.
TV1 & SAT1 CCCAM ACCOUNTS: To remove the ambiguity, both tv1 and sat1 belongs to the same team and it is the only working cccam account for africa that opens all dst* channels with amazing stability. If am to rate the performance of tv1 since the commencement of the world cup, i will give tv1 85% and qsat: 73% in terms of overall stability and the number of channels opened. If your tv1 or sat1 accounts are not working, then maybe you have been banned or there is an issue on your account. You can contact your account supplier for help.
FTA CHANNELS: We have several free to air channels showing the world cup e.g joys ports, tv3, evasion, rdv e.t.c and you can get most of all these channels with even 60cm dish(especially if you track amos 17.0e / 16.0e ) It should also come to your notice that daarsat and infinity tv are fully back on Amos. To learn about frequencies and satellite position to track your various FTA channels, please read this
Zorrobox: Immediately sat1 came back on tv1 server, zorrobox too came back to life only for those who buy their new account. so if your zorrobox is not currently working, buy their new one year account and start enjoying dst* on zorro. To learn how to renew zorrobox z3 read this.
T-LINK DECODER: Tlink is currently opening supersport 3 on dst* with its inbuilt g-share and sds accounts.

The New Qsat Decoder Q-Sat Q23g Receiver

As we still relish the three premium sports channels currently showing on dst+ frequency free of charge, i hereby wish to inform you about another qsat series that has been in the market for queit some time. It is the elder brother of all previous qsat decoders as it has something other qsat series are lacking. Qsat q23g is the latest series of qsat which comes with improved multimedia connectivity, multiple account protocols, more vibrant graphics and picture quality and lots more.

q23g with speedcam and avatarcam

In actual fact, this decoder will minister more to new entrants into the world of qsat than old users. For example, am not just ready and willing to buy it yet because dst* is still working on qsat and i hate having more than one decoder in my house simultaneously. I may change my mind if dst* shutdown all decoder dyring worlcup though. So for old user, this will come as a backup. But for new users, this will give you more than the value of your money.

WHAT DOES Q23G HAVE OVER SPEED HD S1 AND OTHER QSAT DECODERS?

I will answer this question buy saying q23g combines all unique features of qsat and speed hd s1. I can explain this further thus;

  • Q23g comes with 1 year preloaded avatacam account(that can open scrambled dst* channels out of the box) and it also comes with  speedcam menu(Meaning, whenever speedcam account which opens canalsat channels  is available for sale, you will be able to buy it and load it into your q23g through its speedcam menu).
  • it also Support ccam, newcam, mgcam, speedcam, avatcamHD, Dqiptv (all these account protocols comes with it without upgrading to any software, though only avatacam  comes preloaded.
  • More intuitive , detailed and advanced GUI(graphical user interface)
  • DLNA,Sat to IP, Multi-screen integration
  • Support YouTube, YouPorn, N32 Game Yupoo, Picasa Flickr, Google map, Yahoo Weather and Online, Dailymotion.
  • Q23G multi-screen interactionQsat_q23g_2

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION

While there is no option for dqcam inside speed hd s1, and there is no option for a speedcam account in all qsat series that preceed q23g, qsat q23g supports all these account formats out of the box. it also supports offline and online file tranfer via LAN. It is worth giving a go especially for new users because you have nothing to loose.

Verizone Vs Netflix

Scrutiny should be considered in this case, who’s at fault?

Benzibobo's Crib

Verizon and Netflix have been feuding in recent weeks over which company is to blame for slow streaming speeds. Now, government regulators are stepping in to figure out who’s really at fault.
Federal Communications Commission chair Tom Wheeler said Friday that he had directed his staff to gather information on the dispute from Netflix (NFLX, Tech30) and broadband providers including Verizon (VZ, Tech30) to understand “precisely what is happening” and “whether consumers are being harmed.”

“The bottom line is that consumers need to understand what is occurring when the Internet service they’ve paid for does not adequately deliver the content they desire, especially content they’ve also paid for,” Wheeler said.
At this point, he added, the FCC is simply “collecting information, not regulating.”

Verizone Vs Netflix

If Netflix could’ve premiered any show …
If Netflix could’ve premiered any show …
The dispute flared up a few weeks ago after Netflix began displaying messages for users whose videos are slow to load blaming Verizon and other ISPs for the problem. Verizon responded with a cease-and-desist letter demanding that Netflix stop displaying the message, calling it “deceptive” and threatening legal action.

Netflix said Friday that it welcomes the FCC’s effort “to bring more transparency in this area,” adding: “Americans deserve to get the speed and quality of Internet access they pay for.”
Netflix has been complaining for months that some big broadband companies are allowing its streaming speeds to lag in order to compel it to pay them for a faster connection. Netflix reached paid connection deals earlier this year with Comcast (CMCSA) and Verizon, though it said it did so “reluctantly,” accusing the Internet providers of abusing their market power to extract tolls.
The broadband providers counter that Netflix is generating ever-increasing amounts of data consumption on their networks without helping to pay for the infrastructure upgrades necessary to deliver that content.
Verizon said Friday Internet traffic exchange “has always been handled through commercial agreements,” and that it’s “hopeful that policy makers will recognize this fact.”
Comcast said it hopes the FCC’s review will bring “full transparency” to interconnection issues and “enable full education as to how this market works.”
The FCC’s review comes at a time when it is seeking public comment on its new open Internet rules. But the FCC’s rules will only cover how broadband companies treat traffic on their own networks; they don’t address the issue of connections between networks, which is at the heart of the Netflix dispute. Netflix also has called for the FCC to regulate those paid-connection deals. Broadband providers say that’s not necessary, and that paid-connection deals have long been part of the way the Internet works.
